Websites enable community-based input, interaction, content sharing and collaboration. Types of social media sites and applications includ microblogging, social bookmarking and wikis. Provides increased functionality and availability of web application programming interfaces, which are internet-based web services with an Hypertext Transfer Protocol-based programming interface.
